This lovable guy is Wonderworld Flexi Raffy. I have never seen him available at any toy store ( and I go to them all) however I did find him for sale on amazon $ 14.98, at diapers.com and yo yo.com for $15.00 and on Walmart.com also for $14.98. So I guess he has more of a presence on the market than I thought. Wonderful!!
This little guy was instrumental in getting Baby Girl to bring her hands to mid line, as well as crossing midline. With his flexible head and legs he let us move him Every which way we could think of to entice her to get at him. These two were the most popular poses we used his head down to look at her, she would clasp his head with her hands. Once we got her doing that we moved him to the left or right of her body there by crossing midline to clasp his head with both hands as she was used to doing.
We put him flat when she started rolling over to make eye contact with her and get her to reach for him while on her belly. Little Man was never that impressed with raffia so in general he let Baby Girl play alone when he was out.
I have been thrilled with this toy and recommend it to anyone with special needs kids or not. But it is great for therapies.
